A chain of hundreds of islands of jungle-covered islands, stringing off the “bird’s head” coast of West Papua, Raja Ampat is home to some of the most biodiverse reefs on the planet.

There are dozens of pristine dives sites and places to stay that are Papuan-style houses built over the water.
